Minecraft Updates

During Minecraft Live, the next 2 major updates were announced: 1.24- The Mythical Update, in December 2022, and 1.25- Update Nautilus, in April 2023. Gaming The Mythical Update will be the first ever update since release introducing a new Dimension. The Mythic dimension will be filled with strange creatures, monsters, as well as a link to Steve’s history. Update Nautilus II is Update Aquatic II and adds many new features to Minecraft’s Oceans and Beaches.

Minecraft Dungeons

During Minecraft Live, multiple new DLCs and features were announced. The 12th, 13th, and 14th Minecraft Dungeons DLCs will be another End DLC, coming in a few days, a Cave DLC in January 2023, and a Badlands DLC in March 2023. The DLCs to come will incorporate some of the features from Minecraft Dungeons 1.20-1.22-1.23 and add lots of new aspects and options to Dungeons. In the coming months, there will be more features for secret level and new difficulties.

Mob Vote 2022

Minecraft Live 2022 has a Mob vote to elect a mob member of one of two future updates. There are three choices: the Drake and the Pike, as well as the Orca. The winner of the vote was the Orca, with a massive success over the Drake and the Pike. The Drake was eliminated after round one.

Drake

The Drake is a smaller draconic bird that soars in the skies of The Mythic. It can be tamed and can fight Phantoms and other sky enemies.

Pike

The Pike is a predator among the fish. It can hold fish in its mouth, and allow prey to drift freely around rivers and oceans.

Orca

The Orca is a giant oceanic predator and will chase players in boats as it tries to strike. They will be the largest ocean animal. This mob was added in 1.25.
