NEW YORK - September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/Record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022, an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% growth over 2019.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He said, "It's so exciting to again see an increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from America, already reaching or surpassing our record breaking numbers of 2019". "The United States is our most important destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had record number of tourists from Israel entering Israel every month. We are thrilled to witness an improvement in the trend and expect it to continue throughout the months and years to come."

Canada is poised to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.

We are getting close to our record-setting numbers for the year 2019, and we are anticipating that this surge in tourism to Israel will continue as Canadians feel more at ease abroad.
