Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first son of the Oyakhilomes, having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. He attended secondary and primary school. He then attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) located in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria in which he earned a BSc. In Architecture.
AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry journey while still at AAU. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at that time called Youths For Christ.
YFC rapidly grew and eventually was the largest campus-based group. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church has its headquarters in Lagos. Believer's LoveWorld has millions of associates and followers around the globe.
Through the 2002 atmosphere for miracles, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The show was cancelled in May 2004 by the President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would cease broadcasting miraculous events on television.
