Minecraft and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are two delicious flavors however, do they taste great when they are together? One Minecraft player is arguing for 'yes' with massive plans to rebuild the entire map from Nintendo's modern classic as an accessible Minecraft survival map. While the project is still in development, the results are already very impressive.

Reddit user Dinaeh has posted progress photos of the topography of the map. It is very like the original. The map is being created using the WorldPainter tool at 1:1 scale, and Dineah is planning to collaborate with other creators on the creation of shrines and ruins that will populate the map. And yes, a playable version is planned to be released - eventually. SERVERS

Dineah has posted some detailed images of both the Gerudo Highlands and Hebra Mountains and the latter is immediately recognisable. The tiny clearing of grass just before the huge snowy climb to the encounter with Naydra created a huge impression in Breath of the Wild. It's just as awesome as it does in the photo above.
